About me

Hi! I’m Hanna, also known as Hania Mickiewicz. I’ve been playing footbag since 2001 and started making my own bags in 2004. What began as a personal project turned into a passion for crafting quality footbags that perform at the highest level. Over the years, Haniabags have become a trusted choice for pro-players around the world; used in competitions and many championship-winning routines.

During my competitive years, I earned medals at World, European, and Polish Championships. These experiences shaped both my playing style and my approach to design. While I’m no longer competing professionally, I still play for the joy of it—and I bring that same passion into every bag I make.

In recent years, my focus has shifted toward making footbag more accessible. Alongside my handmade pieces, I’ve started working with a small team of skilled makers to bring designs like the Odyssey, Adventurer, Nomad, and Voyager to life—keeping the same metal-filled performance while making them more accessible.

My goal is simple: help more people discover freestyle, improve their skills, and enjoy the game.

About my footbags

Each footbag is handmade with careful attention to every detail. Using my reliable “three-stitch” method, I create bags that are durable, round, and easy to control—perfect for both freestyle tricks and casual kicking.

Strong thread and consistent gathering ensure long-lasting shape and performance, even with regular use. All Haniabags are made from synthetic suede—a soft, slightly elastic material—available in a wide range of colors and custom combinations.

These footbags are designed primarily for freestyle. The metal filling provides excellent control but creates a firmer impact, which may not suit players who primarily kick hard in a circle.

If you’re mainly a circle kicker, you can request a plastic-filled version, better suited for that style of play.
